NDMC official suspended

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has suspended a senior official for his alleged failure to file an affidavit in Delhi High Court in connection with a case.

"Himanshu Ranjan, Deputy Director (Estates) has been suspended due to administrative reasons. He was supposed to file an affidavit on NDMC's behalf in Delhi High Court in connection with a case," a senior NDMC official said.

"He failed to meet the deadline for the same and hence the civic body has decided to suspend him. However, the affidavit has been filed now," he added.
