A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour here, the police said.
The victim, belonging to a village in the Bairiya police station area, was brought to the city on the pretext of medical treatment by the neighbour, who allegedly raped her last evening, a police official said.
On the complaint of the mother of the victim, an FIR was filed at Ballia city Kotwali and the accused Bihari (35) was arrested, the official said adding that the girl has been sent for medical examination.
