Never had a career plan, says Richard Gere

Veteran actor Richard Gere has said that he never had a plan for his career.

The 68-year-old actor said he likes not having a plan at all as it makes his life even more interesting.

"Maybe my agent had a plan, but I never did. That's probably why you see it going in so many directions. Which I like. It makes it more interesting for me to discover my life, my career, whatever I do, as it's happening," said Gere according to Femalefirst.

"It's always filled with surprises. I've been extremely fortunate that way," he added.
