New Balmain collection inspired by Kim: Kanye West

Rapper Kanye West has revealed his wife Kim Kardashian was the inspiration behind Balmain's new Autumn/Winter 2016 collection.

The outspoken rapper, 38, and fashion aficionado, was front row for Paris Fashion Week show, which he attended with his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner.

Kim's sister, Kendall Jenner, was among the models to strut their stuff on the runway, and she turned heads by stepping out with her typically dark hair bleached platinum blonde.

Kim was not in attendance, but Kanye, who donned a pearl-encrusted bomber jacket, made sure her presence was felt as he addressed the Paris Fashion Week media.

"She's the source, the whole collection is based on Kim!" he told reporters.
