T N Hariharan today assumed charge as the District Collector.
He was the Dindigul district collector, before his new assignment as Coimbatore district collector, in place of Archana Patnaik, who was transferred.
Hariharan had held posts of Executive Director of Metro Water and Managing Director Tamil Nadu Housing Board.
Prevention of man-human conflict prevailing in the Western Ghat region, steps to take the Government schemes to the beneficiaries and implementation of measures for the development of the district and also to control the heavy traffic congestion in the city with assistance of police are some of his priorities, Hariharan said.
