New Collelctor takes charge

D Karthikeyan today assumed charge as the District Collector of Salem.

Previously he was Commisioner of Archaeological Department. He had also served as District Collector of Erode.

Karthikeyan replaces V Sampath, who was transferred by the Election Commission yesterday.
