After a span of six seasons and over 130 episodes, the first name of "New Girl" character, Schmidt has been revealed on the show and it is Winston.
In the latest episode, Max Greenfield, who plays the fan-favourite character, spills the beans about his first name, reported Variety.
Greenfield's character talks to his best friend Winston (played by Lamorne Morris) and tells him that from this moment forward he wants to go by his full name, which is actually, Winston Schmidt.
Schmidt's part has solely stuck with being called by his last name, ever since the series with Zooey Deschanel in the titular role.
A press release issued by Fox studios especially mentions that Schmidt's full name is "Winston Saint-Marie Schmidt".
