Newborn girl found abandoned

A newborn girl was found abandoned near a public toilet in Kotputali town in the district, police said today.

"The 3-4 day old baby wrapped in a piece of cloth was spotted by locals who informed police late last night," SHO, Kotputali, Ravindra Pratap said.

The baby was rushed to a nearby hospital from where she was referred to a hospital in Jaipur.

Efforts are on to identify her parents, he added.
