Newly-born found abandoned in garbage dump

A newly-born was today found abandoned in a garbage dump in Raj Nagar colony here by local residents, police said today.

The local police reached the site where the new-born baby girl was found. They shifted her to nearby hospital in Raj Nagar Sector 10.

According to the doctors, the baby is seriously ill and is kept under observation.

A search is being carried out for her parents, police said.
