Newly-married man charred to death

A newly-married man was today charred to death when he was engulfed in flames after a bottle of kerosene fell over him as he was trying to light a stove at his home, 50 km from here, police said.

Nandhakumar (21) was rushed to a nearby government hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

A case has been registered under Section 174 of CrPC (police to inquire and report on suicide), Sub-inspector Chelladurai said.
