The Punjab government will soon roll out second phase of e-governance in the state under which hundreds of citizen utility services will be made online.
Chief Secretary Sarvesh Kaushal today made this announcement after finalising the second phase of the state government's e-governance initiative.
"Citizens will be able to fill online forms, make payment online and get the delivery of certificates at home and the applications will be processed electronically by the department officials," said Kaushal.
"All the 351 services and other citizen utility services like electricity billing, water bills, Aadhaar enrollment will be delivered from Sewa Kendras," he added.
