Claiming that Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal is "not a resident" of Delhi, Maulik Bharat Trust, an NGO, today approached Election Commission and filed a complaint against him, seeking rejection of his new application for voter card.

The NGO has requested the New Delhi election officer not to issue the AAP leader a voter ID from B K Dutt Colony as he has "violated" the norms.

"After Mr. Kejriwal's earlier application was rejected, he has now filed a fresh application for change of address from Tilak Marg to B K Dutt colony," Ajay Aggarwal, secretary of Maulik Bharat Trust, said.

The NGO in its complaint has demanded that Kejriwal's new application should not be entertained as he is "not a resident" of the national capital.
