A Nigerian student has been arrested here on charges of theft of generator battery, police said today.
Kasna Police Station incharge Sudhir Tyagi said, "The Nigerian student has been arrested on complaint of Maulvi of mosque. He was living at a mosque near Honda crossing. On the Tuesday night, he had stolen the generator battery."
He said the accused is a B.Tech student of a reputed university along Yamuna Expressway.
The Nigerian embassy has been informed about the arrest, he said.
