Nine arrested in prostitution racket

Nine persons, including two girls, were arrested today for allegedly running a prostitution racket in Vaishalingar area here.

A tout, two girls, and six persons, who were present in the rented accommodation in Vaishalinagar, were arrested on a tip-off, police said.

The accused have been booked under sections of Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act for indulging in prostitution, police said.

According to police, Pukhraj Sharma, who was arrested in the raid, brought girls from other girls and forced them into prostitution.
