Nine injured in cloudburst in Anantnag

Nine people were injured when a cloudburst struck a forest area in Anantnag district of south Kashmir, police said today.

The cloudburst occurred in a temporary habitation of a nomadic tribe at Matyi Behard in the periphery of Kokernag hill station, some 80-km from here, last evening.

Nine people were injured and a mudhouse was damaged in the cloudburst, police said.

The injured were admitted to a hospital, they said.
