Nine killed in separate road mishaps in J-K

Four people, including two tourists from Maharashtra, died and as many injured when a tourist cab rammed into an oil tanker on Srinagar-Jammu national highway at Barsoo near Awantipora, 32 km from here, they said.

In another accident on Boulevard road in Srinagar, two bikers were killed when their vehicles hit each other.

A 55-year-old man died in a collision between two cars in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district.

In north Kashmir's Baramulla district, a 23-year-old motorcyclist and the pillion rider died when their bike was hit by a trawler near Pattan town, police said.

Three persons suffered injuries when their cab hit a truck on Srinagar-Jammu highway near south Kashmir's Qazigund town, they said.
