Nine-year-old girl found hanging

A nine-year-old girl was found hanging inside her house at Thingsulthliah village in Aizawl district, Aizawl district SP Lalhuliana Fanai today said.

Fanai said that Ruth Lallawmzuali was found hanging inside their house yesterday evening.

Forensic experts who examined her body suspected that her death was not a suicidal one but a homicide, he said.

One person was detained for questioning.
