Health officials in Punjab and Haryana today said there was "no panic" like situation in the states in the wake of dengue and they were reviewing on a regular basis the arrangements to treat patients in hospitals.
There is "no panic" like situation in Punjab and Haryana and special wards for dengue patients have been set up in all government hospitals, the officials said.
Dengue has claimed three lives in Haryana and two in Punjab this season.

"Top officials of the health department, besides the deputy commissioners of respective districts, have been reviewing the treatments being given to dengue patients on regular basis," they said here today.
"Those detected with dengue are being given proper treatments in government hospitals," officials said.
The health departments in Punjab and Haryana are in touch with the private hospitals as well so that complete information could be made available about the dengue patients, they said.
