Northern Command Chief briefs Omar on security situation in JK

Army's Northern Command Chief Lt Gen Sanjeev Chachra today briefed Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on the security situation in the state.

Omar, who visited Army's Northern Command Headquarters at Udhampur, 65 kms from here, was briefed on security situation by Lt Gen Chachra, an official spokesman said here.

The Chief Minister stayed with the officers and discussed various matters relating to the J&K security and law and order, he said.
