Not allowed to use motorcycle, UP boy commits suicide

A 12-year-old boy in Shamli district allegedly committed suicide after his family members did not allow him to use a motorcycle, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday in Khandhla town.

His body was found hanging from a ceiling of his house, they said.

The boy's family claimed that he was disturbed after being not allowed to use the motorcycle, police said.

In another incident, a woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison over a family dispute here, they said.

She died at a hospital, police said.
