Senior Karnataka Congress leader B Janardhan Poojary today claimed he has not received any notice from the party high command for his alleged repeated attacks on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and said he was ready to face any action.

Poojary said he was being termed anti-party whenever he gave advice keeping in mind the progress of the party.

"Congress can expel me but they cannot separate Congress from my blood," he told reporters who asked him about reports that the Congress leadership had sought his explanation on his repeated comments against party leaders including CM Siddaramaiah.

"I am not expelled from the Congress Party. My family is in the party from Nehru's time. If the Congress expels me from the party, let them do it today itself. I will start my fight from now on," he said.
