NSE to drop GlaxoSmithKline Consumer from F&O segment

Leading bourse National Stock Exchange (NSE) today said it will exclude GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare from the Futures and Options segment with effect from May 30.
The bourse, in a circular, said that contracts for new expiry months in GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare will not be issued on expiry of existing contract months.
However, the existing unexpired contracts of expiry months March, April and May would continue to be available for trading till their respective expiry and the new strikes would also be introduced in the existing contract months.

"Accordingly, no contracts shall be available for trading in the security (GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare) with effect from May 30, 2014," NSE said.
Shares of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare closed at Rs 4,260 apiece on the NSE, down 0.35 per cent from the previous close.
