Nucleus Software ties up with WASEDA Univ to rope in interns

Nucleus Software today announced a partnership with Japan's WASEDA University to rope in students for providing internship opportunities in its Noida campus.

Under the partnership, the BSE-listed company will give opportunity to WASEDA students to get a hands-on experience with product innovation, it said in a BSE filing.

"Through this internship program we hope to encourage constant flow of knowledge and talent between India and Japan," Nucleus Software founder and Managing Director Vishnu R Dusad said.

Nucleus will host interns for a period of three weeks, who will work on software that the company is developing for critical examination and analytics of Japanese banking and financial sector.
 

"This partnership with Nucleus Software is a key opportunity to infuse our students with the spirit of innovation. We believe that this is an extremely valuable experience for our students," WASEDA University Dean of Centre for International Education Masakazu Lino said.

The software firm has offices in 50 countries including Japan and services 150 clients globally. The company generally deals with softwares for retail banking, corporate banking, cash management and Internet banking.
