A nurse of a private hospital here was today allegedly abducted by two youths who threatened the hospital security man with a sickle.
The two youths, who came to the hospital at Kottar at around 0100 hrs asked the security to call the 20-year-old nurse and threatened to hack him with the sickle when he refused.
Hearing the alarm raised by the man, the nurse rushed out and the two youths allegedly kidnapped her, police said.
Initial investigation showed the girl had been kidnapped allegedly by one Kesavan, police said, adding a search is on for the youths.
