NWR's 9 trains resume operations, 7 still cancelled

North Western Railways (NWR) today said it has resumed services of nine trains while seven others remain cancelled and two diverted, in the wake of the Jat stir.
Bhiwani-Mathura, Jaipur-Mathura, Jaipur-Agra Fort, Barmer/Bikaner-Guwahati, Ajmer-Sealdah, Jodhpur-Varanasi, Jammu-Ajmer, Agra Fort-Bandikui and Bandikui-Agra Fort trains have resumed operations, NWR CPRO Tarun Jain said.
Mathura-Jaipur, Howrah-Sriganganagar (both ways), Howrah-Jodhpur, Merta-Bikaner, New Tinsukhia, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Udaipur trains have been cancelled for today.
Ajmer-Jammu train and Agra Fort-Ahmedabad trains have been diverted for today itself, the CPRO said.
