OBA lawyers abstain from work

Lawyers of Oudh Bar Association (OBA), High court today abstained from work in support of its demand for inclusion of districts of Kanpur, Moradabad and Bareilly divisions in the territorial jurisdiction of Lucknow High Court.

They will resume work from tomorrow.

According to OBA general secretary Ramesh Pandey, the executive committee had decided to abstain from work to press for their demand.

He said that the next meeting of OBA would be held on January 5 to formulate future strategy.
