US President Barack Obama has met his former secretary of state Hillary Clinton who is now the Democratic presidential nominee.
Obama met Clinton backstage for "about 15 minutes" last night before he delivered his remarks to the 39th annual Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Gala here, a Clinton Campaign official said.
The White House also confirmed the meeting, but no details were given about it.
This was the first meeting between the two leaders after 68-year-old Clinton fell ill over the weekend and had to take a few days' off from the gruelling campaign schedule.
