Patnaik today left for New Delhi on a four-day visit during which he will receive the Rastriya Krushi Karmani Award on behalf of the state from President Pranab Mukherjee.
"I will receive award from Hob'ble President on February 10," Patnaik said before leaving for the national capital.
The state has been selected for the Rastriya Krushi Karmani Award from the President for registering production of 114 lakh metric ton of food grain during the year 2012-13.
Patnaik will return to the state capital on February 11.
