Odisha government today decided to prepare documentary films on two eminent freedom fighters of the state as a mark of respect towards them.
"The documentary films will be prepared on the lives and dedication of late Purosottam Nayak and late Brundaban Tripathy," Information and Public Relations Minister Atanu S Nayak said after a meeting.
Information and Public Relations department will make the documentaries.

Purosottam Nayak, who passed away last year at the age of 104, was vice-president of All India Freedom Fighters Samiti. Hailing from Kendrapara district, he was jailed several times during his struggle for Independence, the minister said.
Tripathy was a dedicated social reformer besides being a prominent freedom fighter and Bhudan movement leader. A native of Jajpur district, Tripathy had kept his Badachana area out of British Rule for three months, the minister said.
Both Nayak and Tripathy were close to Mahatma Gandhi and followed his non-violence ideology, he said.
