The Anti-Corruption Bureau today caught a government officer while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 in Reddygudem Mandal Tehsildar Office in Krishna district.
DSP V Gopalakrishna said that R V Subramanyam, Junior Assistant, had allegedly demanded Rs 12,000 for giving birth certificates of the complainant's daughters.
Later he settled on Rs 10,000. ACB officials laid a trap after the complaiant approached them and arrested Subramanyam this evening.
