Thirty two administrative officials from 19 countries, who are in India to take part in a training programme, visited the Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS) to learn about the manufacturing process of Jaipur Foot.
The officials from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Botswana, Ethiopia, Fiji, Ghana, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda visited the centre.
They are in Jaipur for training in the Harish Chandra Mathur Institute as part of the study programme, a release from the BMVSS said.
"The team members learnt the working and functioning of the Jaipur Foot that has its presence in 27 countries and is the world's largest organisation for the handicapped with total beneficiaries of over 1.6 million," the release said.
