One arrested for betting IPL matches
One person was arrested today for allegedly indulging in betting on a Indian Premier League match at Sitaramdera here.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided Sitaramdera locality and arrested Asuthosh Bhumij for indulging in the betting on IPL matches, Superintendent of Police (City), S Karthik said.
He said the police have seized Rs 1.57 lakh and mobile phones from his possession.
