One arrested in dowry death case

After evading police for over two months, a man accused of killing his daughter-in-law for dowry has been arrested, police said here today.

Moinudding was arrested late last night.

Reshma (25), was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her in-laws' residence in Arya Nagar colony on November 10 last, SHO Loni Border R P Sharma said.

Deceased's brother had lodged an FIR against her husband and in-laws for allegedly torturing Reshma to death for not bringing the demanded dowry amount of 1 lakh rupees.

Rest of the absconding accused will be nabbed soon, police said.
