A person, allegedly carrying two pistols and ten cartridges, was arrested in Awagarh area of this district, police said today.
Anil Kumar, resident of Nagla Bania village in Eka town of Firozabad district, was arrested yesterday near a police barrier of Basundhara with two pistols and ten cartridges, they said.
The accused has confessed that he was going to supply these to some anti-social elements for the upcoming gram panchayat elections, police said adding, that he has been challaned under arms act.
