One dead, two injured in fire

A girl was killed and two of her

family members were injured after a fire broke out in a housing complex in Mira Road area here today, police said.

The mishap occurred in the wee hours in one of the flats of a housing complex here, Mira Road Police Station assistant police inspector Jagdish Shinde said.

The three including a two-year-old child were rushed to a nearby hospital where one of the girls died during the treatment, he said.

The cause behind the blaze is yet to be established and investigations were on, he said.
