Police also seized Rs 1.33 lakh from his possession.
Based on information, Mangalhat Police raided a building at Lower Dhoolpet yesterday and found two accused - Udha Ram Singh alias Udesh along with one Ravi Narayan - accepting bets on the match from punters by using cell phones and TV.
While Udesh was nabbed, a manhunt was launched to apprehend the absconding accused Narayan, they said.
