One person was today arrested in connection with the group clash in which a teenaged boy suffered bullet injuries on Sunday.
One Jabbar Sheikh was arrested in connection with the clash from Sukhdebpur area in this district this morning, Superintendent of Police Prasun Bandyopadhyay said.
A police team led by DSP (HQ) has been conducting combing operation to arrest other culprits, he said.
A student of class VIII Md Azim Alam (15), son of the leader of one group, suffered injuries when a stray bullet hit him in the stomach.
Alam was admitted to the Malda Medical College and Hospital.
