One held for working as courier for militants

Police today claimed to have arrested a person allegedly working as a courier for militants belonging to Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) from Tibri village here.

SSP Sukhwant Singh Gill said the district police arrested Harpreet Singh, a resident of Kotli Harchand village in the district.

The arrest was made on the basis of infomation provided by the KLF militants Sukhjinder Singh, Narinder Pal Singh and Surinder Singh who were arrested on September 15 and weapons including an AK-47 rifle were recovered from them.
