Driver of a state-transport was killed and 15 others were injured when the bus collided head-on with a truck in Gandepalli mandal of East Godavari district today, police said.
The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus, which was travelling from Visakhapatnam to Rajahmundry, hit the divider and collided with a lorry coming from the opposite direction, killing the lorry driver on the spot, police said.
Six people, who received serious injuries, were rushed to the Rajahmundry Government hospital, they added.
Gandepalli police have registered a case and further investigation is on.
