One killed, 7 others injured in mishap

The incident occurred last evening when the vehicle driver lost control over the four-wheeler and it rammed into a tree near village Simbli on Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road, they said.

The car was coming from Mehtiana to Phagwara when the mishap occurred.

The deceased has been identified as Amritpal Singh.
