One killed after being run over by speeding car

A teacher was crushed to death whileseven other injured after allegedly being run over by a speeding car at Jhinjhana town in Shamli district, police said today.

The incident occurred last evening while the victims were out for an evening walk.

Sanjay Kumar (38), teacher of a local inter college, died on the spot, police said.

The injured were shifted to hospital.

Three occupants of the car Manoj, Ravi and Sethpal were taken into police custody and was found under the influence of alcohol.
