One killed as train rams van at unmanned crossing

One person was killed today when a passenger train collided with a van at an unmanned railway gate near here, railway police said.

The mishap occurred as the van driver tried to cross the railway track when the Nagore-Bangalore weekly passenger train was approaching, sources said.

He died on the spot, they added.
