One killed as truck hits tree

One person was killed and another got injured when a mini-truck in which they were travelling in dashed into a roadside tree here this morning, police said.

The mini truck dashed into the roadside tree while trying to save a motorcycle near Ranipur bazar under Atraulia police station area this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Deepchandra Gupta (45), police said, adding that the injured has been admitted to a private hospital.
