One killed while making fire crackers

One person was charred to death when his house caught fire following explosion of some fire crackers at Duillya in this district today.

Two fire engines doused the flame.

The incident occurred when the house owner Surajit Mukherjee was making some fire crackers for his family use during the puja festival this morning, police officials said.

Mukherjee (35) was charred to death before firemen could reach him, they said.
