One labourer killed another injured in mishap

A labourer was killed and another seriously injured in a mishap when they were digging soil in Assam's Dima Hasao district today, police said.

A mass of soil fell on the two when they were digging soil for a retaining wall of a lake at Dibarai under Haflong police station killing one of them identified as Ashif Ali (45) on the spot, the sources said.

The Injured labourer Rehman Ali was admitted to Government Haflong Civil Hospital, they said.
