One more JMB operative held in Bodh Gaya blast case

(STF) today arrested another suspected Jamatul Mujahideen (JMB) operative over his alleged role in a

low-intensity blast in the Buddhist pilgrim town of in during the Dalai Lama's visit in January.

Acting on a tip-off, the unit of nabbed Hajibulla when he was trying to buy a ticket, he said.

"Hazibullah had helped in procuring explosive that were used by cadre in mines, which they had planted on January 19," he said.

Hajibullah, a resident of Murshidabad, was booked under various sections of the IPC besides criminal conspiracy and explosive acts. He was remanded to police custody till June 24.

The had so far arrested five operatives from different parts of the state in the case.
