One person dies of burn, 150 huts gutted

The fire broke out in the kitchen of a house and soon engulfed the adjoining huts, sources said.

A physically disabled person Mallu Paswan was charred to death in the fire, sources said.

Block Development Officer (Ujiyarpur) B N Singh said three fire tenders were engaged to douse the flame and the value of the property gutted in the fire was being evaluated. PTI CORR AJK
