One person killed in cylinder blast

One person, hailing from Kolkata, was today killed when a gas cylinder exploded here, police said.

Nazrul Mulla, a resident of Kanning District Dukhan, 24 Paragon in Kolkata, was critically injured when the cylinder exploded while refilling at Rampora locality of Qammerwari, a police spokesman said.

He said Mulla was rushed to SMHS hospital where he was declared 'brought dead' by the doctors.

Police has registered a case and started investigations, the spokesman said.

Mulla was working as a helper in the gas refilling shop.
