One person killed in road accident

One person was killed in a road accident in West Bengal's Murshidabad district today.

A motorcyclist was knocked down by a speeding truck on national highway 34, police said.

Angry protestors set ablaze the truck and blocked the highway resulting in traffic jam.

The blockade was on and police has reached the spot to clear the highway.
