One shot dead in minor group clash

A class XI student was shot dead when two groups clashed in neighbouring Shamli district, police said.

The rival groups entered into a confrontation last evening when Mayank was shot at by Nitin and Laki, they said.

A case has been registered against the youths who are absconding.
